Jeffrey
Bloomberg, DVM
& Katherine Bloomberg,
DVM
Veterinarians & Owners
Dr. Jeffrey Bloomberg graduated with
High Honors from the University of
Illinois with a B.S. in Animal Science
in 1997 and received his DVM from the
University of Illinois in 2001. He
and his wife, Dr. Katherine Bloomberg,
were the owners of Park-Wise Animal
Hospital prior to Park-Wise Animal
Hospital joining together with
Schaumburg Veterinary Hospital earlier
this year. Dr. Jeffrey Bloomberg's
professional interests include
breed-specific risks for disease and
utilizing that information to prevent
illness in his patients. He also
has a strong interest in laser surgery and
has completed advanced training for a
number of procedures. Dr.
Bloomberg
enjoys playing basketball and the
outdoors in his free-time. He and
his wife, Dr. Katherine Bloomberg, have
three children.
Dr. Katherine
Bloomberg earned a Bachelor's of Science
from Northern Illinois University in
1997, and is a 2001 graduate of the
University of Illinois College of
Veterinary Medicine. She has spent
time working as a shelter veterinarian
and has a strong interest in animal
rescue and welfare. Dr. Katherine
Bloomberg is a member of the AVMA and
ISVMA. In her spare time she
enjoys gardening and camping.

Melanie
Murphy, BVSC
Born and raised
in the Chicago area,
Melanie always knew she would be
a Veterinarian. Her dream was realized in
2000 when she graduated from the
University of Liverpool in
England.
Since then, she has
worked with small animals,
exotics and horses. She enjoys
spending time with her partner
David, her two dogs, Mylie and
Karina, and her cats, Layla and
Ozzie.
Dr. Murphy belongs to the AVMA
and the RCVS and has worked with
Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue
for 3 years.

Casey
Levine, DVM
Dr. Casey
Levine graduated from the University of
Maryland in College Park with a B.S. in
Zoology. She obtained her Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine from the VA-MD
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine
in 2011. Her interests include feline
medicine, cardiology, and internal
medicine. She also has a strong interest
to obtain a certification in veterinary
acupuncture in the near future. Dr.
Levine is a member of the AVMA, VVMA,
and Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor
society. In her spare time, Dr. Levine
enjoys reading, traveling, and scuba
diving. She also enjoys spending time
with husband and their two cats, Layla
and Major Tom.

Patricia Ho, DVM
Dr. Ho graduated from the University of
Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Neuroscience.
She then continued her education and
received her doctor of veterinary
medicine from the University of
Illinois. Dr. Ho’s current medical
interests include neurology, emergency
medicine, public health, and geriatric
care. She is currently a member of the
AVMA and VECCS.
In her free time, Dr. Ho enjoys cooking
for her friends, yoga, and spending time
with her family and her two cats, Bobby
and Jeffrey.
